Car Phone Company is a B2B communications business that offers a wide range of communications services, specialising in mobile phone airtime, wireless data and hands free installations. We recognise that the business sector we are in is not “environmentally focussed” but it will continue to exist regardless. CPC decided to conduct our business in a way which minimises its impact on the environment, partly inspired by our work with HRH The Prince Of Wales. There are a number of strategies we have used ourselves, and with our clients, to reduce costs in business.

We took the opportunity to analyse every convention of how business in general (and the mobile business specifically) worked and challenge them.  A lot of the solutions we found had one eye on the bottom line and one on the environmental practises that are expected of Royal Warrant holders.  We found that we didn’t need to prioritise one or the other. We always saved money, were more efficient and we always ended up with a greener solution. We started to deliver a quicker service to our clients than ever before and were able to expand our offerings to clients accordingly.

It’s goes a lot further than just showing them how to use their phone: we still do that and we still save people money on their phone bills.
